INÉS BALLESTER
María Inés Ballester Muñoz, born in Burriana, Castellón, on September 28, 1958
Graduated in Journalism from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, she started her career at Cadena Ser, and later moved to the Magacín newspaper of Radio Nacional de España. After a few years in radio, she made the definitive jump to television, first at the Centro Territorial de TVE in Valencia as "Head of Programs" and later at Canal 9 and Telemadrid. After three years in Telemadrid, she was hired by Antena 3 in 1997, to return later in 2001 to TVE, where she presented the morning program "Por la Mañana" with Iñaki del Moral for no less than six seasons.
Since 2009 and until today, he collaborates in the radio program "Julia en la Onda" in Onda Cero, with Julia Otero, and in 2010 he co-presented, with Carmen Sevilla, the program "Cine de Barrio" of TVE.
Inés, considered by many to be an eternal and struggling woman, and the author of numerous books, was diagnosed in the summer of 2012 with Breast Cancer, a disease for which she underwent emergency surgery at the Fundación Jiménez Díaz.
AWARDS AND DISTINCTIONS TO HIS CAREER
In 2005, in the Television category, for his work on TVE's "Por la Mañana" program, he received the "Antena de Oro" award.
